Here is the long-awaited good news for nurses- NMBI has formally recognized Occupational English Test as an alternative to IELTS, with effect from 2 January, 2018. The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) has accepted the following scores on the OET from 2 January 2018 as part of the application process for Non-EU applicants ONLY, to meet the Ireland Board of Nursing English Proficiency requirement. At least a Grade C+ in Listening and Reading At least a Grade B in Writing and Speaking
